A chassis dyno in a class of its own
Dynapack™ chassis dynamometers are such a radical departure from the stereotypical roller dyno that most of the previous assumptions made about chassis dynos (the roller type) simply do not apply to the Dynapack™ series.
Repeatability
One of the biggest assets of the Dynapack™ system is its ability to conduct multiple runs back to back and provide amazing levels of repeatability.
Simplicity
Ease of use: The Dynapack™ uses Windows based software and so it’s instantly recognizable and friendly. We have spent quite a few years developing a very simple to use interface so that even someone who’s never used the software before feels right at home, making tuning a vehicle a simple task whether you are a master tuner or just starting out.
Fast set-up time: Two people can take a Dynapack™ out and have a vehicle testing on it in less than 10 minutes. In fact we regularly do this at demonstrations.
Sensitivity
The lack of inertia in the Dynapack™ system allows the sensitivity to be greatly improved over traditional dynamometers. We can reliably measure minute differences.
An example of our testing includes a .010″ change in a spark plug gap!

The Dynapack™ is ideal for trackside tuning, fault finding and testing/parity. Dynapack™ is used around the world at race tracks using a small 1000 watt portable generator.
Noise Factors
Our dyno at speed measures around 60 to 80dB depending on load – much quieter than the engine at idle. This is especially beneficial if you want to perform NVH (Noise Vibration & Harness) tests. Dynapack dynamometers™ are already in use in NVH labs. You will find that you can now use your ears as an additional diagnostic tool, since all you will be hearing is the vehicle.
Safety Factors
History has proven that cars do come off roller dyno’s but with the Dynapack™ and our failsafe connection method, this event cannot happen. What would happen if a car came off a Dynapack™? Due to the built in safety design, so far, it hasn’t happened. If it did, the vehicle would just drop to the floor.
So you and your insurance agent can breathe a big sigh of relief and sleep better at night. Your business’s liability insurance may be dramatically lower when using Dynapack™ vs. a traditional dynamometer purely based on the safety aspects of the Dynapack™ system.
2WD and 4WD hub dynos
The Dynapack is a modular design which allows you to upgrade to a 4WD system at a later date. Any of the 2WD models can be combined together to make your 4WD system.
